Candi Gunung Sari
Gunung Sari Temple is located on the top of a hill in Ngasem Village, Gulon Village, Salam District, Magelang Regency. From the results of the research that has been conducted, Gunung Sari Temple consists of a main temple building, a non-main temple building, a brick-structured building and a white stone-structured building. Gunungsari Temple is a temple used as a place of Hindu worship. This can be seen from the discovery of the Mahakala statue during archaeological excavations. In the Hindu pantheon, Mahakala is known as the kroda aspect of Shiva. Based on the style of sculpture and decorative motifs, Gunung Sari Temple was built around the 8th century AD
