Candi Lumbung Sengi
Lumbung Temple, Pendem Temple, and Asu Temple are located on the western slopes of Mount Merapi at an altitude of approximately 650 m above sea level. Near the three temples flow the Pabelan River and Tringsing River which originate at the peak of Mount Merapi. These rivers flow westward and meet near Lumbung Temple. The first temple that will be encountered is actually Lumbung Temple. The location of Lumbung Temple is on the right side of the road, slightly inward through the rice field embankments. Lumbung Temple is currently facing an emergency response condition related to the eruption of Mount Merapi 6 years ago. Lumbung Temple was temporarily moved because it is located in a location that is prone to erosion or landslides due to the impact of cold lava flows at that time. The next temples that will be encountered are Pendem Temple and Asu Temple.
