Candi Pringapus (Candi Perot)
Pringapus Temple is estimated to have been built around 850 AD. Pringapus Temple was restored by the Department of Archaeology in 1930. Judging from the shape of the building, Pringapus Temple has Hindu Shiva architecture. This indicates that Pringapus Temple was built to worship Lord Shiva and is a replica of Mahameru, the abode of the gods. This is proven by the presence of the statue of the Nandini Bull, Shiva's vehicle, and the hapsara-hapsari reliefs depicting demigods.
