Candi Banyuniba

This Buddhist temple stands facing west, alone in a farmland. About 15 m in front of the temple building flows a small river. When it was discovered, this temple was only in ruins. The first research and reconstruction began in 1940. Based on the research results, it is estimated that Banyuniba Temple consists of one main temple facing west and surrounded by a row of stupa-shaped ancillary temples, 3 in a row in the south and 3 more in the east. Currently, only the main temple has been successfully restored. None of the ancillary temples remain. In the backyard of the temple there is a hole like a well.
