Sojiwan Temple is a temple with characteristics of Buddhist heritage located at an altitude of 146 - 150 meters above sea level. Approximately two kilometers southeast of Prambanan Temple and is thought to be a group of distribution of Prambanan Temple.

The total area of the temple complex is 8,140 square meters, and the area of the main temple building is around 401.3 square meters and the height of the temple is approximately 27 meters. This temple faces west. Inside the temple complex, relics were found in the form of damaged dwarapala statues which are now stored at the guard post in this temple complex. At the foot of this temple is carved relief of the fable of the Jataka animal story surrounding the foot of the temple. The temple stairs on the east side are flanked by makara statues, only one of which is still intact, the other makara has been lost. At the top of the stairs there is a gate gate carved with kala. The original body of the temple was full of tendril carvings, but because many stones were lost, they were replaced with plain stones.

The inner chamber is now empty, there are only niches and thrones that originally may have housed Buddha or Bodhisattva statues that are now lost. One Buddha statue that has been damaged and lost its head was found in this temple and is now stored in the guard post. The roof of the temple is three-tiered. On these levels there are rows of stupas. The top of the temple is crowned with a large stupa. At the foot of the temple are presented reliefs of scenes taken from the Pancatantra or Jataka fables that are in the Sojiwan temple. The number of reliefs is around 12 scenes. The relief story is read towards the south (mapradak?i?a). Unfortunately, the condition of many of these reliefs is worn out and concerning.
