Teras Malioboro Ketandan is the new location of Teras Malioboro 2, which has been relocated to Jalan Ketandan Kulon, in Yogyakarta's Chinatown area, only about 100 meters from Malioboro. This modern building features Chinese-Indische architecture, complete with a red gate and strong Chinese ornamentation. Opening from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), Teras Malioboro Ketandan offers complete facilities: a culinary area (buildings B & C), a souvenir and fashion center (building A), a bicycle parking area, a prayer room, clean restrooms, CCTV, security guards, and an amphitheater for arts and cultural performances. With a spacious layout and a flow designed to allow visitors to comfortably explore all the stalls, this place has become an attractive one-stop destination for tourists. This terrace accommodates approximately 605 vendors, all local residents who were relocated from their previous location through a stall lottery system, as part of an effort to improve the quality and welfare of street vendors (PKL) and become MSMEs.
