PPOW was founded in 2016 out of concern for the plight of rice farmers in Wonogiri who bear the most risk and least profit in the rice value chain system several young people joined to teach organic farming systems and facilitate post-harvest processing and marketing the flagship products are organic rice (white, red and black) with various variations such as pandanus, volcanic etc, and cashew, empon2 and organic cocoa the marketing of these products is local (companies and modern retail markets) and exports to the US, EU, Singapore and malaysia national and international standard organic farming systems are value added to this program
