Peninggalan Waliyullah Hasan Munadi dan Sendang Nyatnyono
The tomb of Waliyullah Hasan Munadi is located in Nyatnyono village, West Ungaran, Semarang Regency. His magnificent tomb on Nyatnyono hill is always crowded with pilgrims, both from within and outside Semarang. In fact, his tomb has become one of the important religious tourism destinations in Central Java for the past decade. However, there are not many sources available regarding this figure. Therefore, this article is based on the book History of Waliyulloh Hasan Munadi & Hasan Dipura and History of Sacred Water and oral traditions obtained from interviews with caretakers. He is a figure who spread Islam in the Ungaran area in general, and Nyatnyono in particular and is believed to have come from Demak. The childhood name of this figure is Raden Bambang Kartonadi and he was born in 1460. Born and lived at the end of the 15th century, making Waliyullah Hasan Munadi an important figure in the early development of Islam in Java.
