The tomb of Sunan Katong is located in Protomulyo Village, Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency. Geographically, the tomb of Sunan Katong is located not far from the Java Sea. The tomb of Sunan Katong is in the same complex as the great scholars of Kaliwungu and is also the final resting place of the Mataram dignitaries who lived in Kaliwungu. The Sunan Katong burial complex is also called Astana Kuntul Nglayang. This is because this burial complex is the final resting place of the ancestors of Kaliwungu or the descendants of Prince Djoeminah.
