At the foot of this temple is carved a relief of the fable of the Jataka animal story surrounding the foot of the temple. The temple stairs on the east side are flanked by makara statues, only one of which is still intact, the other makara is missing. At the top of the stairs there is a gate with kala carvings. The original body of the temple was full of carvings of tendrils, but because many stones were missing, they were replaced with plain stones.
